Okay, so here’s a little info about myself.

Alias: Soup
Age: Older Teen
Grade: 12
Location: A small suburb near Minneapolis, Minnesota. Population: roughly 20k
Height: 4′11″ - Incredibly short
Weight: ≤ 115lbs - A little chubby
Skin: Pastey with Acne scars on my face and back. Hurrah. =/
Hair: Wavy ash-brown, but I was born blonde. The sun’s rays lighten it. Currently less-than shoulder length.

I’m a bit of a geek and a total nerd, but I’m a happy, giggly person so most everyone likes me. My voice is apparently quite high-pitched, but it sounds totally different in my head. I enjoy singing, though not in front of people, and I am in my school’s audition choir, called Concert Choir. I don’t really play any instruments, though I do enjoy learning songs to play on the piano, even if I can’t sight read so it takes me forever to learn them. Instrumentals are my favorite kind of music, so even though I prefer to sing, I would rather listen to people play. I own more than 20 anime soundtracks, but the funny thing is I’ve never seen any of the anime that they come from. Soundtracks are what I want most, so if anyone’s got any good ones, send ‘em my way. I probably only own like 6 American soundtracks. Let’s face it: Asians make better instrumental music. They sure as hell can’t sing, though. Recently I’ve developed an affinity for Drama soundtracks, ‘cuz they have really great music.

What I can’t stand lately is anime. Now, I’ve been watching it for my entire life because my aunt is a geek and corrupted my mother before I was born, so I’m not one of those annoying bandwagon-ers. Anime is just so…sucky. It’s ugly, it cuts out parts in the story, and a lot of them use the same popular voice actors so all you can hear is the actor and not the character. To be honest I guess you could say I joined the manga bandwagon, and it’s probably true; I didn’t discover it until 2002. As soon as I did though, I was hooked. Manga is much better than anime, just like a book is better than a movie, though undoubetly American movies are better than Japanese cartoons. I’m the kind of person who gets annoyed with super popular things, unless it’s amazing awesome, and thus I’m fed up with anime and anyone who is into it. I will probably always be a Japanophile at heart, but I’m not an ignorant one. Japan is a cool place to shop, but that’s about it. Lately, because of my Korean friends at school and all the Kdramas I’ve been watching, Korea has become a country of interest to me. They make even cuter things than Japan. Eat that! XD;

I’m a really lazy person when it comes to work, but when it comes to play I’m totally on top of things. In school I get lousy grades because I don’t do a whole lot of homework. I’m actually very smart, I just don’t like work. At all. In fact, after I graduate this upcoming year I plan to take a year off and get a job plus real world experience rather than go to college immediately. Actually I’m not sure what I want to do with my life either, so that’ll give me a year to think about it. Maybe I’ll end up working somewhere I love and just stay there. College isn’t as great as people seem to think it is. All the professors are liberals and force their views onto the kids. Why do you think there are so many protests by college kids? Because they’ve all been brainwashed, that’s why. Back to the subject of school, I’m taking a Computer Science class, so if I like that I could decide to persue that career path. Lately I’ve been thinking about webdesign. I do enjoy making layouts and coding them, but would I want that as a career? Perhaps, perhaps not.

What I really want to do with my life though, is marry a good man, have a couple of kids, and be a stay-at-home mom. I don’t want a job-job, I want to take care of the house, the kids, and the hubby. Old-fashioned, sure, but that’s all I want. Of course, seeings how I’ve never even had a boyfriend, I dunno how possible that life is. Errgh.

Some people I may mention in blog entries are as follows:

Kong - Best Friend (male) An Asian artist (big surprise, an Asian that can draw) who I totally hate. Hah, kidding. We have an…odd relationship. Honestly, it doesn’t make sense why we get along so well; we’re on totally opposite sides on everything, but we seem to agree on a lot of stuff. Crazy ole Kong.

Aly - Best Friend & Mind Twin (female) My bestest fwend even if we don’t see eachother. Like, if we didn’t talk for 10 years and then one of us suddenly called we’d still get along awesomely. We can practically read eachothers’ minds because we’re always thinking the same.

Jennifer - Best Friend (female) She’s just…adorable. Like a puppy. That’s all.

Jo (Jolene) - Close Friend (female) LAME. JO IS SO LAME. I hope she gets Sars. XD; What a Japanophile.

Amber - Close Friend (female) I’ve known her since the 6th grade and we’ve just always been friends. Amber’s so cool. She gave me a much needed makeover in 10th grade. I owe her big time.

Arum - Friend (female) So very Korean. She’s the cute and shy school-girl you read in comics and watch on dramas. How cute.

Chris - Crush (off and on) since 9th grade (male) He’s like, super cute. And nerdy, but sort of jocky. He’s hot. He should be mine. >D But yeah, definitely an on and off thing. I just sort of forget about him unless we have a class together. He’s a lot of fun, and a good friend, that is, when I actually see him. Sheesh, we need more classes together.

Bob - 20something Teacher and Crush since 11th grade (male) He was my student teacher in 11th grade, and god he’s amazing. Cute face, hot body, boyish personality. He’s so apple-pie-American, if you get what I mean. Okay, you know how when you were a little girl you would think about what kind of man you’d marry and how you’d live happily ever after with him, and how you can’t help compairing that perfect man to every guy you meet as you get older? It sounds rediculous and corny and stupid, but he is that man. He is the man I’ve pictured in my head since I was a child. Wtf, marry me! Too bad he’s already married. Seriously, you have no idea how much I want him. In all honesty, I’m pretty sure he likes me a little. We’ve just got chemistry, simple as that.
